Zoe

1985 | Japan

Born in 1985, living in Tokyo.
The works depict the stories of "the struggle of "useless things".
I started creating in 2020 and was later recognized by the industry and told that "From tomorrow, you will become an artist", and at the same time gave my current name.
The attraction of Zoe's work lies in the bold use of color and the worldview full of free imagination. And its unique one-eyed character design is also one of its distinctive features. The artist puts it this way: "'Useless things' are always looked down upon by 'useful things'. Like putting a lid on dirty things, useless things are driven into corners and covered up. This situation Will continue to repeat. However, these "useless things" are not always silent. They are depicted in my works as "useless" because of their popular and revolutionary forms, but I love those who are labeled as failures and useless. My work is also a story of the struggle for "useful things."
